Angels
First off i would to thank the good Lord and his angels for watching over my momma today. She was walking across a road this morning and got hit by a car. Thankfully, the car was not going that fast and pushed my mom to the ground, it did not run over her. She was taken to the hospital by ambulance, checked over, and released. She had a EKG and scanned for broken bones. Her heart is fine and no broken bones were found. She is very sore and bruised and will take a few days to get back to normal, but she is alive and pretty much ok. I just feel so blessed! Me and my mom are very close and i could not imagine losing her. I mean, i know that day will come, but i want her to have a long, wonderful life with me as long as the Lord allows. It really shook me up and it doesnt help im working today, but i know my mom would not agree with me getting off and rushing to her. She was like, “Summer, im fine. Sore and bruised, but fine. I only told you so you would not hear from anyone else. You concentrate on work.” She is so strong! I just cant wait to get off and get up there and get a huge hug from her!!! I just want to see her and prove to myself she is ok.
Im proud to day i survived yesterday with no chocolate and have survived today without rushing to it or any other bad food i usually crave after hearing about my mom. I got scared, upset, and worried, but it never crossed my mind to stuff my face. That is such a great feeling. Once i get home and am alone though is when the real test comes. Thats when my brain goes wild and can lead to binges. But…i will not allow it! I will have a great blog tomorrow to show yall and myself how strong i can be!
Yesterday: Frosted Flakes with 1% milk for breakfast. 3 SlimQuick pills taken with 8oz water. Peanut butter/banana sandwich and 1oz of Doritos for lunch. 3 SlimQuick pills taken with 8oz water. Small can of chef boyardee spaghetti, pear fruit cup, 10 mini carrots, 2 tbsp ranch, and one dinner roll for dinner. 13 cups of water. Exercise: 1 hour & 20 mins total. 30 mins on the bike before work. 20 mins toning (butt/abs) and 30 mins on bike after work. Sticker on calendar.
I did my toning from free apps i have on my phone. I did a 10 min one for my butt and a 10 min one for my abs. They were alot harder then i thought and really gave me a great workout. If you have the ability to look them up i really recommend them. The one i found gives you a free 5-10 min workout everyday. They do 10 different moves and each moves last 60 seconds.
Well, just wanted to stop by and update my blog for yesterday. Not feeling the most chipper and im still fighting this sick thing, whatever it is. I feel better in general, but im still fighting this icky feeling in my throat, the sniffles, and a cough/sneezes. It is making drinking water very difficult. It just taste….nasty! Fighting through though. ![]()
Congrats on breaking the emotional eating cycle! That is the worst thing I fight with. Great job!
OMG I’m so relieved that your mom is ok!! I couldn’t imagine what I would be thinking if that had happened to me. That’s amazing that she wasn’t seriously injured or worse.
so glad your mum is ok, and well done for not turning to food/chocolate
