No Candy and No ChaCha

I’m proud to say i survived all of Valentine’s Day with not one piece of candy. And let me tell you…that was not easy. My hubs left his vase of Reese’s candy i bought him on the kitchen table along with his heart shape box full of Reese’s cups. And not to mention my own box that was hidden on top of the fridge. My action plan was to stay out of the kitchen and not look at them. LOL It worked! Oh, they tried to call me in, but i told there where to stick it. LOL

On a sad note though i was not up to getting my sexy salsa on. Around 5pm yesterday my stomach got really upset to the point i was gagging, i got dizzy/light headed, and had a small headache. I’m not sure if it was because i did not have enough to eat at lunch and was on the go allll day and didnt have enough in me to keep me going. Or if it was because my sugar or BP was low. Or that it may be me getting sick. I have a cough and icky feeling throat today, so, it seems im fighting something. When i got home i almost fell over 2x trying to get in the house and once when i was getting my laundry going. I still had the drive to get my salsa on, but i didn’t think my body could actually get it done. The last time i felt like this and i made myself exercise that hard my chest got really tight to where it hurt, i was stumbling all over the place, and i got short of breath. I hate that feeling and did not want to risk that. No worries though…i still got a nice sweat on with my bikey instead. I pushed has much as i could and listened to my body. Every time i felt a little dizzy i slowed down and when i felt better i would push more. It’s a push and pull type system. I hate i didnt get my sexy on, but i’m slowly learning to listen to my body. Sometimes what we want to do is not what is best at the time. Body? You better be ready thursday….i need to get my salsa on!!! LoL

Yesterday: Egg and cheese sandwich with 2 eggs, 2 wheat toast, and 1 slice american cheese for breakfast. 3 SlimQuick pills taken with 8oz water. SlimFast bar for lunch. 3 SlimQuick pills taken with 8oz water. 2 cups rice, 3oz shrimp, pear fruit cup, 10 mini carrots, and 2 tbsp ranch for dinner. 9 cups of water. Due to me feeling icky and my throat not feeling well, water was sooo hard to get down. I pushed though and got at least over the 8 cup mark. Exercise: 1 1/2 hours. 30 mins bikey before work and 60 mins bikey after work = 30 mins of the hardest program and 30 mins with a medium program. Sticker on calendar. :D

It was a tough afternoon/night, but im glad i didn’t let it ruin my progress this week. Usually when i’m that ill i like to stuff my face and just lay around on the couch until i feel better. But where does that get me? Falling off my positive, weight loss wagon, and making me feel worse mentally. Exercise just makes it all better! Even if it’s just 20 mins lifting weights, 10 mins on the bikey, or a small walk down the road and back. It’s just good to move if your body can and get those happy juices flowing. We may not always be able to walk or move our body, so we should has much as we possibly can now. I really hope im like those 80 year olds you see riding bikes down the road, walking at the mall, jogging, swimming, etc. If the good lord blesses me with that i want to prove to him he made the right choice and treat this body as best as i can.

Ok, i think i got deep enough with myself for one day. LoL Happy Hump Day everyone! Remember your goals and the way to get there and do it! We are all so strong and able to do so much more then we think. :D

    sorry to hear your not feeling great hun, hope tomorrow is better, and well done for steering clear of the sweets. I totally agree with you about exercise anything is better than nothing :)

    I hope you feel better soon Summer. Kudos to you for getting your sweat on while feeling under the weather. *HIGH FIVE* for staying away from the Reese’s…I love me some Reese’s so I know how big a tempation it can be. Great job!

    What are the Slim Quick pills? Could they have upset your stomach?

    i dont think so. ive been taking them for 3 1/2 weeks and have had no issues. im think im catching what my friend had, she was sick when i went to help her the other day with wedding stuff and im getting all the signs. light headed, upset stomach, sore throat, cough, stuffy nose, tired, headache. im fighting it but its making me blah while doing it.

    I hope you start feeling better Summer…I hate seeing you sick :( I want you to be able to get your sexy salsa on lol. Congrats on saying NO to candy!!! I also said no to chocolate covered strawberris, banannas, and apples when a valentine edible arrangement showed up on my doorstep, lol.

    you go girl!!!! and thanks, im feeling better today. not 100% but not as tired or sickly feeling. im chugging water and everything i can to get well. :D
